I'm sorry, but subways are that much more expensive than els, we shouldn't be building them unless its absolutely necessary. I'd like the limited transit funding we do have to go further. And that is beyond the downsides of subways (higher temps, more brake dust, harder to clean, etc)

Pointed out to someone that you can't just pressure wash subway stations at any time of day and doing that sorta maintenance requires a shut down of service and they blocked me.
