My dad was on a landing craft somewhere that day in 1944

The crematorium was equipped with five 3-muffle ovens capable of burning 1,440 corpses in 24 hours. The undressing space & 210 sq. meter gas chamber were located underground.

Bit of help needed! Someone's contacted me after failing to find any details of death/burial of a Royal Artillery soldier who died in Khartoum in 1912. His death is known from info given by army's financial effects register. I can't locate any registration of death, either. Thoughts? #genealogy
