Trump told me this a couple of hours before Bibi struck Iran. He has turned himself into a prisoner of other people's decisions.

"No two human beings, let alone US presidents, could be less alike than Donald Trump and Jimmy Carter. But they have Iran in common. Once the idea forms that a US president is prisoner to what others decide, the scent of impotence is hard to shake." My column. as.ft.com/r/83847e96-a...
A provocative take from @edwardluce.bsky.social that will not sit well with Trump…if he can stay awake long enough to take it all in. Carter and Trump are almost polar opposites, but the presidencies of both foundered in Iran…for very different reasons.
It is good to see someone as respected as @edwardluce.bsky.social saying this. And it is not just young Americans who are compelled to reject the extreme American capitalism that has driven inequality and corruption in this country. www.ft.com/content/d6b1...

@royalsociety.org I hear you’re blocking people calling on you to cancel Elon Musk’s fellowship. His presence besmirches your name. He’s a danger to British democracy. Reconsider.
