The U.S. should pay Iran 300 billion dollars in reconstruction costs. I really think that should be non-controversial. If you start a war illegally, with a surprise attack bombing, and you kill thousands, well, 300 billion is the least of it. As the ICC is toothless, this is the best we can expect.
The "hydration break" really is a perfect American capitalist innovation: a nakedly commercial play to insert more ad revenue into a game that doesn't have ads anywhere else in the world, all under the guise of some humanitarian interest in the players' wellbeing.
