For the Australians, but also others interested in this issue: Australia's emissions data just saw its *biggest ever* land-use data revision. Except this time, it's UPWARDS: the same amount as power sector GHGs fell 2018->2026 (!!!!!) A thread on that + other updates from the data!
Why is Uber’s website so absolutely atrocious for seeing completed trips, downloading invoices and managing business accounts? Also I have a uber credit card charge that doesn’t appear anywhere on my uber account transaction history. Just a ghost charge. Wtf?!
“One mile on a bike is a $.42 economic gain to society, one mile driving is a $.20 loss.” “Which means that Copenhagen, a city of 1.2 million people, saves $357 million a year on health costs because something like 80% of its population commutes by bike.” #CityMakingMath Some costs are savings.

The impact of the USAID shutdown on Africa, as seen from space and on the ground. M. Nicolini and I study the effects of the aid cuts by linking GODAD data on USAID projects to satellite-based measures of economic activity and IPC food insecurity indicators. 👉 papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.... 1/11
