Day 42 continued my eastward journey through Brittany. I rode from Loscouët-sur-Meu to Montfort-sur-Meu via Saint-Meen-Le-Grand, where a stage of the 2025 Tour de France was due to start. I followed the first few kilometres of the race route out of town.
