Stranger Things is weird because every character (*especially* the kids) is a stupid asshole and yet the show treats them like lovable heroes.
The exceptions are Winona Ryder, who is smart and nice to the other characters, and Eleven, who is not a character.
(Whenever I get Netflix I end up hate-watching a little Stranger Things.)
