Claire Foy and E Grant (‘Your cock is in my wife!’) are on top form. 😁 Only real niggle I had is that I wanted to see more of a clever explosive barbed climax as all the escalating strands collided and peaked at the end. Still, I had a lot of fun with one. 😁

Went to see Savage House. Imagine Richard E Grant’s Withnail married into a wealthy 18th century estate but still a drunken loser! A mix of Triangle of Sadness, The Favourite & Barry Lyndon mashed together with shit & wigs. Laughed & cringed at the increasingly unhinged grotesque social climbing.

EDIT: “Eerie & Creepy” - annoying autocorrection crept in there!

With lots of raw process pencilled/ink pages to examine via this expanded French edition of the book.

Spending a little moment to luxuriate in Richard Corben’s beautiful work for “Eerie & Comics” via this absolutely enormous tome that I picked up for a bargain in Paris many years ago. The book dwarfs many other books on the same shelf.

I must have an odd taste in monsters as I rank “Son of Godzilla” quite highly too! Monster slapstick and pratfalls! 😄

A couple of years before that, I went drinking in Tokyo with Shusuke Kaneko (the director of the Gamera trilogy) who spectacularly destroyed the poor plucky Baragon in a battle against Godzilla in the 2001 Godzilla film. I did’t hold it against him! 😆
