Another example of the "sci-fi show marketed at adults problem" - adults have busy lives and need to make time to watch things... let's cancel it because no one's watching it.

Interesting they're just cancelling that special instead of delaying it as I expected.
That regeneration really should've just been a fade to black because there's no way whoever picks it up is gonna bother resolving it.
