Challenging normative and adult-centric narratives of marginalisation and resilience, Leverhulme Research Fellow @jaydelosreyes.bsky.social @unisouthampton.bsky.social repositions migrant children as capable and active partners and investigates their experiences of migration to the UK.
Our team is at Glencoe in the Scottish Highlands, exploring historical landscapes and having fun as only such a diverse group could.
Our afternoon was a voyage to the 17th century with archaeologists Michael Given and Lizzie Robertson both from Glasgow Uni, telling us the stories of people who lived at Glencoe during the 1692 Glencoe massacre
