Two Frenchmen talking in English about Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿🇫🇷
Had a lovely time in Edinburgh today, presenting my Franco-Scottish works, poems, and La Revue Écossaise to a group of students from La Sorbonne.
Alan Sharp (1934–2013) is remembered as a screenwriter, but his writing career began with the award-winning – & taboo-breaking – novel A GREEN TREE IN GEDDE. Still controversial, it is nevertheless “a flagship of 1960s Scottish prose”. Preorder the new edition now! 💙📚 asls.org.uk/publications...
