John was co-owner of Capital City Distribution starting in 1980. CCD enriched comic book fans with unique products & distribution. CCD was internationally acclaimed with centers in US, France & UK. John was loved by fans and artists. He was even a character in Sin City.

Found a box of animation material. Stacks of new cels and HB (ACME pegged) animation bond; full set of field guides; timing pads, Cartoon Color cel-vinyl charts (32 neutral grays!), a believed lost HB layout guide; some of my FX animation, and BG color keys, etc.

A couple of background color keys. One is for a 3 field W-E BG5 pan (scene 5), another for a single field BG7 (scene7), from the same location. Color keys and finished backgrounds were painted with Cel-Vinyl color, the same paint used for the animation cels & FX.
