I referenced this at my recent 40th birthday party🎂 There was fire on my cake to deter horses. As a coeliac I do feel for the horse as I've had various times when I couldn't have cake.

Turns out previous years' success at No Mow May, and No Mow 6 Months, was mostly due to having small grazing animals on the lawn. Without them the grass has gotten long all over. The strimmer managed most of it, but I ran out of cord before the small area between the big conifer and the compost bins

Also! Libraries exist! You can get the thing free at the point of use! From a library! And writers in the uk/roi at least get paid! I feel like I have to say this a lot but I suppose some people are SUCH special boys they can't even use a smelly library in case a writer gets paid which is tacky
