Every paper I write leads to me coming up with several ideas for other papers, as *in the process of writing* I realise that I either misunderstood someone else’s view, or because I find there is much more to say about some ancillary detail. Using a LLM would deprive me of those revelations

As I work on researching and writing a paper, my brain is fizzing with connections found in the work of others, ideas becoming concrete as I put them in paper in a really crap draft, becoming more refined as a revise a draft. It's difficult, it's hard work, and it's also exhilarating.
