Calleva Centre Postdoctoral Researchers- The deadly enigma of melioidosis: Decoding the pathogenesis of Burkholderia pseudomallei.
These systems are widely recognised for their role in antibiotic resistance but we also highlight how RND efflux pumps support pathogen survival within the host. We outline four hypotheses regarding how RND efflux pumps contribute to virulence.
Having read through nearly 200 applications for my Wellcome Trust-funded PDRA post, one simple advice I can give to applicants is make your CV more concise and digestible.
