Honestly this should be a lesson to creatives: instead of shit talking something, put in the work if you want your stuff to match or exceed a popular creative work.

That one indie animation team calling Hazbin Hotel, Digital Circus, and Gameoverse childish reminds me of this trailer from the 90s for a movie called Blue Planet calling Toy Story and A Bug's Life childish.
Blue Planet never ended up getting fully made, BTW.
