The “My mayor is Muslim / My bagel is Jewish / My Christian Dior / KNICKS IN FOUR” chant feels like an online trend that could become part of NYC lore because it conveys NYCers’ glorious diversity, love of food & fashion, mix of high & low, and sense of fight & pride, all in punchy rhyme. Genius!
World Cup players are being denied entry to the US.
Some are being detained, searched and treated like criminals.
They have one thing in common…. They’re not white.
The US has no business hosting the World Cup when it’s hostile to those from other parts of the world.
