I don't understand how EV charging companies took a look at the millions of quick, standardized, and easy to operate gas pumps around the country, and said:
"How can we make this process worse? I know, let's make it only work through a phone app, and require you to have a membership!"
Absolutely! and if by chance you do find a charger, you have to download their app, set up an account, give your credit card information, and hope everything works so you can pay whatever ridiculous price per kWh they decide to charge you. It is frustrating, to say the least!
