I’m really enjoying The Pitt in that fast talking, multi layered, American drama kind of way…I just wish there was a way to skip the gory medical bits…
Who goes to the cinema and thinks “what I really need right now is a tub of popcorn larger than my head” and proceeds to eat it loudly through the film? Is there actually anyone who enjoys popcorn? (Sorry, grumpy old man moment).

“There never was a golden age..”. 1974 Doctor Who story ‘Invasion of the dinosaurs’. The BBC overreached itself with the special effects, but the story is first rate*. A good underlying meditation on the danger of nostalgia.
*Even the padding in episode five with a helicopter chase…
