I’m not certain on this, but when I was working on Councilor Kanal’s campaign in 2024, we always talked about understaffing at 911 call centers as an issue.
Seemingly that’s been alleviated, according the KGW’s article “Portland 911 dispatchers weathered a crisis…”
So, what gives?
