I tested Google's Gemma 4 12B LLM on writing R code for a bar graph using ggplot2. Criteria: horizontal bars colored steel blue and sorted from high to low, with commas for numbers higher than 1,000 on the axis. This newest Gemma got it right on 3 different attempts. Old gemma-3 12B got 0%. #RStats
