I was reading through Erol Otus’ “the Necromican,” and that got me thinking about Arduin, and that got me thinking about the Berkeley gaming scene in the 70s. Suddenly it struck me that RuneQuest was surprisingly mainstream.

You know it occurs to me that it’s completely on theme that we’re now getting a huge Thunderdome cage on the White House lawn…
So apparently the nerds are mad because the guy they hired to play Han Solo in Disneyland doesn’t look exactly like Harrison Ford.
IMHO, The real missed opportunity was not spacing out his appearances so he could also play Indiana Jones in Adventureland, and Bob Falfa in Cars Land.
