There's so much awkwardness in this show it honestly makes me feel a bit seen. Penelope being a huge dork and not knowing how to react to being called cute is extremely me coded.

I got ya. And I got that from the show to. Only one character is a literal sex pest and everyone else is extremely naive and awkward which can be cute sometimes and really cringe at other times.
