This was a TV MOVIE that was on a NORMAL CHANNEL and not any kind of cable network. It traumatised the hell out of every kid in my neighbourhood because we were absolutely not prepared for this shit.

TRILOGY OF TERROR (1975) TV horror anthology based on stories by Richard Matheson and directed by Dan 'Dark Shadows' Curtis. Karen Black stars in all three stories, and the one about the possessed fetish doll is the absolute standout. I'm not ashamed to say it scared the living stink out of me.
