Trump promised he would bring down prices "on Day 1" if he was elected. It's now Day 506 and inflation just climbed to its highest level in three years. When Biden left office in January 2025, inflation was 3.0%. Now it's up to 4.2% because of Trump.

Trump has refused to allow a celebrated soccer official from Somalia to enter the US to referee the World Cup. Omar Artan was named referee of the year by the Confederation for African Football. But Trump hates Somalis. He says Somali immigrants are “garbage” and Somalia is “not even a country.”

Republicans criticize Bill Pulte, Trump's pick for DNI: Senate Republican Leader John Thune: “We don’t need a weaponized DNI; we need professionals there.” Senator John Cornyn (R-TX): “I see no evidence of any qualifications for that job.”
A tiny fraction of Republicans are slowly starting to realize that Trump is toxic for the midterm elections. 1. They push back on his $1.8 billion slush fund 2. They call out his unqualified DNI pick, Bill Pulte. 3. They reject his candidate for Iowa governor. 4. They vote to stop his war on Iran.
Trump says Iran’s military shot down a US Apache helicopter in the Strait of Hormuz and the US must respond. The same military he claimed was totally destroyed last month.
Apparently, Iran shot down the US Apache helicopter in the Strait of Hormuz last night while the US commander-in-chief was busy sleeping at the Knicks game.

Former Trump aide Caroline Sunshine says unqualified Bill Pulte is a “fantastic choice” for director of national intelligence because “we don’t need any more experts.” Wrong answer. Federal law actually requires the DNI to be an expert.

Are Republicans slowly starting to grow a baby spine? First, they speak up against Trump’s $1.8 billion slush fund. Then they criticize his unqualified DNI pick, Bill Pulte. And now they have rejected Trump’s endorsed candidate for Iowa governor, Randy Feenstra. Probably just a coincidence. 😒
