I tried DDG and honestly it's garbage at its job as a search engine
I looked up Taipan snake and it's all stock photo sites with AI images even tho I have the filter on. I went back to Google and it gave me Wikipedia, Britannica and other wildlife related sites. I don't think I need to say anymore
It's a wasteland devoid of memes and fanart when I just want to look up stuff for fun, it gives up when my search is vaguely technical and I still have to dig through slop all the same. They don't let you block sites freely and flagging results do nothing. I honestly don't know what people see in it
