Now, I very much try to assume the best of people and not be rude. But the worst possible way you could follow that up is asking me if I have a partner and, when I say no, *then* tell me you're looking for a partner.
Erin Reed is a journalist who does a lot of hard word and shouldn't be attacked or ostracized for that work, but her reporting is very frequently framed in the most alarmist, panic-inciting way that very often stokes the fears of trans folks on here and causes more harm than good, IMO
