This is the most wonderful news. Huge congratulations to the hugely talented Melissa Oliver-Powell, Lecturer in Film and Literature in @uoyenglishrl.bsky.social!
Thrilled to be one of the four authors of “Eighteenth-Century Embroidery”, module 4 of the Royal School of Needlework’s online course on the history of embroidery. My focus is on domestic women makers and the everyday labour and creativity of needlework in the home.
Incoming incredible special issue alert, courtesy of @drbeard79.bsky.social!
What a privilege it was to hear the fabulous @katewilliamsme.bsky.social talk about her new book #Regina at #YorkFestivalofIdeas tonight!
I am totally bowled over by this review of my book. The book came out nearly four years ago now, but this was totally worth the wait. Truly humbled and pleased the book speaks to people and that the magazine it's about is being enjoyed by so many readers today. www.romtext.org.uk/reviews/rt25...
