After a flurry of recent commits by Claudio Jeker (claudio@), an important development milestone has been reached, mwx(4), the WIP #OpenBSD driver for Mediatek chips, can now associate and RX/TX with an open WiFi AP! 🎉

PSA for #AsahiLinux users: Do NOT upgrade to macOS 27 Golden Gate!
Apple has changed how the boot picker and Startup Disk applications detect valid OS boot volumes. When using either from macOS 27, your Asahi partition will not be visible! We believe this to be a bug, and have filed a report.
Heads up: This very likely also affects booting other non-Linux OS's on Apple silicon, don't upgrade to the macOS 27 beta.

If Apple wanted to kill Linux (or *BSD), they wouldn't have to subtly break it in a macOS beta. They designed the security model on these machines to allow booting 3rd party OS's. It's not a jailbreak.
