I'll note that it's been several months since the interview took place, and his opinions have probably changed since then along with the U.S. foreign trade "policy." But I think his answers are still super relevant and a great snapshot of this moment in my imagined ttrpg history.
It was great to speak with @jmstar.bsky.social, and I can't think of anyone better to chat with about boxed rpgs from both a design and production perspective.
I'm grateful for his expertise, shared in a very accessible way, as well as his take on these games in the present(ish) state of affairs.
