Rewatch: Unforgiven (1992), an old favourite since it came out, when it was an early-ish venture to the movies to see a "serious" film with mates. Still one of the great films to simultaneously deconstruct genre and offer ample genre pleasure. Maybe the film has its cake and eats it, but who cares?
