Repost of the latest ADG-se video for the afternoon crowd! :D
Heads up that even though I managed to rescue my gameplay footage for the next ADG-se, they're calling for a small chance of off-and-on thunderstorms all throughout tomorrow, so the video might go up later than usual; We'll see! :B
...the repair WORKED! :D
Kind of a lucky break; If not for the fact that I record gameplay using a constant bit-rate instead of a variable bit-rate and knew almost exactly how long I was recording for, I would've been SOL. :B
OK... so... my recording for the next ADG-se got corrupted somehow...
I'm trying a bunch of recovery tactics and one of them shows promise, but requires a similar video file to steal a "moov atom" from...
...so... I'm just gonna leave my recording software to run on the game for 63 minutes... :B
Seeing a "coder" complain that coding is "not fun" anymore specifically because the GenAI got too expensive to use is kinda proof positive they were never a "coder" to begin with. :P
There is SO MUCH inherent value in actually writing code... Letting something else do it for you destroys that. :/

Someone tell Skyrim and Minecraft to freaking DO THIS. I am not buying those games at full price again JUST for VR support! >_<

This ain't your typical 486 laptop, it has a TFT monochrome LCD! Tech that didn't end up in too many systems. Sadly it's not without issues, but I've wanted to show it on LGR and what better time than now while it still works?
