Updated to the latest #Godot RC3 and happy to say my latest #Derelict iteration worked without a hitch. All my prior solutions still holds up.
Thought I could add two keyframes with the same value so it doesn't animate, but it simply falls through to the next animation keyframes. So the door still closes, albeit a bit slower.
Time to move on. While I plan to make a #Godot-integrated BatchDitherer later, I have a game to finish. This is my final #Derelict iteration. As in prior iterations, Markers are done, so we now work on Devices like Doors. The next major parts are Aliens and the battle system.
Thanks for the help. I managed to do it with one animation in #Godot. Just shows how powerful and flexible the Godot animation system can be, as praised by many.
I hate oil rigs. It reminds me of Still Wakes the Deep. Nightmare fuel.
Question for any #Godot AnimationPlayer experts here. Before is an animation of a door opening, and after is an animation of the door closing. However, I want the door to stay open for a moment, so how do I make a pause in between the two animations?
The original demand of gen AI was from perverts that wanted to undress women and deep-fake sex with women they lust over, not for ideas or references, those are just excuses to masquerade their perverse AI use as work and art.

#Derelict for #Playdate Door open/close animation finally captured from #Godot. The next task is to implement the match-3 game system that automates the door opening.
Testing #Derelict render quality of floors and ceilings. Next are walls and doors. Once I get the door opening/closing animation done, we will truly be back on schedule. 👍
Walls are here. Doors are all that is left to allow the player to navigate the entire #Derelict station. I need to capture the open/close animation. This failed previously due to a weird #Godot GDScript issue. Since moving to #Godot mono, 🤞it'll be resolved. We'll find out the result very soon.
