This is kind of mean, but I’ve been thinking a lot about past relationships and why they didn’t work. And one of the big overlapping issues is that I didn’t feel listened to. My achievements weren’t celebrated and my negative emotions were dismissed. Just, no acknowledgment that I was my own person.
