I mean, by all accounts, I could be pushing 60 (I'm 52 now) by the time Doctor Who comes back.
So I'm about as excited about Season 16 as I am about Rian Johnson's standalone Star Wars trilogy, or Do They Know it's Murder? I'll adjust my enthusiasm when we know it's actually in production (3/?)
(And you know what else the BBC said they were working on? A Christmas special. Which RTD now insists was never written.)
At my age, I find it VERY HARD to be enthusiastic or get excited about something that's, realistically speaking, at least two-three years away. (2/?)
Until then, it's entirely theoretical. The BBC may want to bring it back, but until they do, it's vaporware (END)
Okay, probably shouldn't say Doctor Who is "effectively canceled."
Better way to put it: the next season of Doctor Who is vaporware. The BBC said they're working on bringing it back, but right now it doesn't exist (1/?)
He's back š

The NPS is dumping hydrogen peroxide into the reflecting pool and vacuuming out dead algae. What this tells me is that the industrial sand filtration system is about to fail and they can't even pump water to municipal wastewater treatment bc it is too thick with algae.
