Every time a politician says they want to deploy drones and AI to solve crime, public health emergencies, homelessness, etc I want you to picture the team of incredibly well-funded lobbyists and marketing people from companies that sell AI and drones standing right behind them.

This morning I paid a visit to Chicago's immigration court at 55 E. Monroe to check in on recent claims that there's a push for mass preliminary hearings (see linked NIJC presser).
Granted I haven't checked on that court in a few months, but nevertheless:
I have never seen the court so packed.
