Everyone who's rich, hated and works to make people miserable could be just as rich, and do the exact same amount of work to make people happy, comfortable, or safe at some fundamental level, then be loved by millions. But they don't want to do that, because they're stupid

I do understand it being hard to square these stories and the videos from nyc of strangers *spontaneously breaking into song together* with the things anyone with a little money or power here seems to want to do. I can't understand it either
