For now. But with my students I’ve seen a massive improvement — less unnatural etc. Nowadays I know a lot is AI, but I can’t prove it. In-person is the only way.

In my capacity as journal editor I want to say this: authors you are not doing yourself any favours by using AI to write your manuscript.
I am finding convoluted arguments, bizarre language, weird expressions, and dull writing.
Using AI to 'improve' your language may be a pathway to rejection.
