Milestone 8 is similar to others Ive seen, with just one single player level and one multiplayer level (could be for a demo, context is heavily missing)
as a prior attendee, i can attest that this is an *excellent* symposium. if you have any interest in game preservation, this is the event to go to!

Tape Extractor is doing a nice job today, found some Descent 3 source code dating back to mid 1998
Fixing some bugs in tape extraction today, and what do I see? MYHOUSE.WAD! Clearly the story goes deeper than we ever imagined.
(In all seriousness, it is a real file, obviously not related to the 2023 thing)

Id still like to see what Climax had working in their cancelled Warhammer Online MMO. These are some screenshots I had found, clearly testing features.
That's a blast from the past. I unpacked and set up all these in the 90s when I worked at Electronics Boutique.
I still have this one from 2000 when I worked for Sony Bend. They all got destroyed after 911 and the cover was changed.
