I'm not even sure why I'm putting this out here; I don't want pity, really, just, maybe venting, or maybe exposing how I really am. I don't know.
I reminisce about a life of what ifs and what haves, though I realize I have so much given to me that I do not deserve. I didn't really earn anything in my life. It's no wonder I feel like a parasite to those around me, that I'm just putting on different masks to make people happy and like me.
What do I even believe in anymore? I've lost my old faith, I've lost connections to family, barely hanging on by a thread. I feel no purpose in anything I do, looking at it all and asking myself why?
People come to me for help, but I can't even help myself, so all I say is half truths to comfort.
