We got him as a puppy when our kids were little and he stayed with us until now, when they’re full grown adults. He taught his younger, bigger sister Wendy (from the same rescue organization) how to be a good dog. I know she’ll miss him too!
Ok back to crying. It’s part of life to grieve but OOF.
We had to say goodbye today to our beloved boy Rudy. 14 years with us. Always a sweet, funny little guy who gifted us more joy than we could ever return. Our hearts are breaking now but we wouldn’t change a thing. Our memories of Rudy will always fill us with happiness. We love you so much, buddy! 🩷

It is the end of the school year for Minneapolis Public Schools and it is impossible to adequately express gratitude to the teachers, administrators, volunteers, families, and organizers that made school a safe haven from the onslaught of state violence that tried to consume this place.
