i’ve been watching mobile suit gundam and honestly i’d feel more mobile in a normal suit than a mobile suit
i had a dream that i replied to someone on twitter and then thought “wait a minute i don’t use twitter that site is awful” so i deleted it
you could say the soul thing is true for any creative work, and it is, but what i like about shimeji in particular is how purely it conveys that. it’s easy and common to dilute your soul while making art, if anything a lot of what feels “correct” is doing exactly that. which makes it more valuable

i just spent the last 3 evenings reading the manga Shimeji Simulation and i absolutely loved it! it’s beautiful and thoughtful and personal and fun, but most importantly it a very distinct voice/soul that makes it a unique and wonderful experience
bluesky is cool and all but i wish they could make my art uploads look blurry and awful
i bet i could lift the millennium anvil
