Just spotted this incredible portrait 👇in a far corner of the house at Wrest Park, Bedfordshire: the 19th century novelist Caroline Norton by George Hayter, 1835; learned, distinguished & dignified. A woman who campaigned for legal change & became the sitter for justice murals in Westminster. 🌟
