Cosmo glared at Thawne as he attacked Barry.
He clenched his fists and ran at Thawne with the aim of smashing his face in.

Barry does a double take at the fire, then places a hand on Cosmo’s shoulder.
“Kid, this guy is serious,” he begins to lecture. “He will kill you and —“
A bolt of red lightning snaps out, hitting Barry straight in the chest. He flies backwards, slamming into the kitchen counters.

Cosmo moved back in front of Barry.
He never runs away. Ever.
"I never run away from a fight Barry! This bloke looks like bad news!"
He lights his fists on fire and gets into his own fighting stance.

Barry immediately pushes Cosmo behind him, getting into a fighting stance.
“He’s the Reverse Flash. I — I’m going to run you somewhere safe, okay?!”

Cosmo jumped backward when Thawne revealed himself.
Whether that was him or Cosmo's magic he's not sure.
"What the fuck?! Who the fuck is that? I knew it felt like I was being watched."

Thawne steps out of phasing before he can be fully revealed. He spreads his arms apart, smiling.
“Hey, kid. Nice trick.”

"Something's not right. . . ."
Holding up his hand Cosmo mutters softly in Latin for anything hidden to reveal itself.

Cosmo can't shake the feeling of unease that was settling in his bones.

A pity they won’t even get to put it together.
