In 2025, Geneva Call engaged with armed groups across key areas of Iraq, reaching regions home to over 4 million civilians.
As a result of sustained humanitarian dialogue, armed groups took steps that improved civilian protection.

Director of Operations Atif Hameed recently completed a week-long visit to Yemen, one of the world's most severe crises, meeting government ministers, military leaders, civil society, and aid organizations to align on priorities.
In 2025, Geneva Call adapted its Sahel engagement. Cross-border dialogue, awareness sessions in neutral locations, and trusted mediators helped maintain contact with hard-to-reach armed groups, preserving space for humanitarian engagement.

The Laws of War Bootcamp has won two national awards in Ukraine. Developed with veterans, military experts, and IHL specialists, it combines e-learning, combat scenarios, and simulations. Since launch: 12,000+ users and 5M+ reached.

In Ukraine, in 2025, Geneva Call supported the development of practical IHL guidance for drone operations, now integrated into military training. Nearly 9,000 personnel were reached, with potential to exceed 100,000 as the guidance scales.
