If you inherited a movie theatre, what's your first double feature?🍿🎬
May 23, 2025
Agnès Varda has been on my radar for a long time, and I finally watched my first film of hers: Cléo from 5 to 7. It's A delicate and subtle portrayal of anxiety and its anguishing drive, which leads a woman to reflect on alienation, denial, vanity, fears, and dreams, while paradoxically making (+)
perceive the vastness of the world around her, both through the desire to feel it more and the impulse to live in cruel dualities between life and death, courage and vulnerability, connection andΒ superficiality. While I do feel there are few dull moments in the film but it still was pretty worthwhile.
