This made me laugh , a magpie kept pecking at foxys tail and then his mate joined in , it went on for a good ten minutes before foxy got fed up and left , they chased after him for a bit to make sure he’d gone 😂
I heard birds calling from the long grass and waited a bit , and a family of pheasant chicks came running out to find mum 🥰
A wonderful close encounter with the barn owl on tonights #patchbirding as it took a short rest from hunting .
It was so close , I held my breath and froze !

It’s such a lovely time of year on #patchbirding with all the fledglings . Today I saw the 1st sedge warbler young 🥰
After not seeing him for 12 days and thinking he’d gone the #patchbirding Great - tailed grackle was on the meadow at Speke hall earlier 🙌🏻
Lots of swift,swallows and house martins over the meadows and the buzzard and kestrel were out hunting .
