I was at this protest today to oppose the rise of fascism in the UK 🇬🇧
Thousands of us, chanting, dancing, having a great time, and a sorry, paltry group of losers who came to our city with a hateful message.
The far right isn't inevitable. Diversity is our strength.
Three things I learned from Furality
1️⃣ Furries are still one of the most warm and welcoming groups of people of which I've ever been a part

One of the interesting things about using BlueSky as my primary social media/scrolling app is the site doesn't run ads & is too small, it seems, for companies to astroturf.
It makes me wonder what "big events" that seem to be word of mouth grassroots successes are actually engineered crazes.
Similarly there have been supposedly big events in the news that I've missed, and I wonder how much of that stuff is relevant and how much of it is pushed onto the public by the billionaire class.
Meanwhile I'm here looking at work from obscure artists, reading people's funny posts, seeing stuff about indie games... Honestly it's pretty great for my mental health.
