Ahhh, my poem “The Language of Fireflies” is an Ignyte Finalist! Huge thanks to @thedeadlands.com for giving this one a home.
Go read every one of these poems! The Ignyte Awards always highlight a banger list of work in each category. So honored to be among these writers.
I'm kinda excited that my first book got me my second ever literary award nomination...
I celebrated by NOT doing work last night and having excellent Greek food with my gay swim team.
I am *ridiculously* happy to be on this list!
The Ignytes are special. The organizers are doing work that actually improves our community.
Being in the company of the folks on the list is an honor in itself; but also, being recognized by *this* set of people...? Seriously, I'm very moved by this.

Delighted — and honoured — to be on the @theignyteawards.bsky.social ballot for “The Secret History of Indian Science Fiction” — and delighted, in particular, for the spotlight on Indian SFFH, and for Alter Mag for making this their inaugural essay.
