The café is unmissable!
Whisky infused Smoke Salmon sandwiches and lentil soup followed by cream and jam scones!!!!!

#AnnandaleWhisky MOS Bourbon
Palate: thick sweet arrival, honey, vanilla and a little caramel. There's a gentle spice and some of the tropical fruit from the nose. 'Plain' ex-bourbon show the distillery character marzipan, lemon zest & icing sugar. A little sour grapefruit as the liquid disappears.
#AnnandaleWhisky MOS Bourbon with a little water diminishes the spice and brings the lemon and almond notes to the fore. The salinity and smoke hide in the background but they're there.
The distillery is well worth a visit, there's lots of history there as well as the modern distillery!

Finish: gentle smoke, salinity, lemon zest and rum & raisin ice cream.
Peated distillery character in a glass.
#AnnandaleWhisky MOS Bourbon
Nose: bonfire on a beach - smoke, salinity and a little tropical fruit. Wet seaside pebbles, dried pineapple and hints of rum & raisin ice cream
Overall #AnnandaleWhiksy ticks all of my boxes, it used to be north of £100 but now the bottles are around £85.

On to the final #AnnandaleWhisky dram a Man O'Sword Ex-bourbon Cask #607 D: '15, B: '23, 57.7% ABV
Pale gold in the Glencairn, swirls cling as a thin line, bead up and fall as slow thick oily legs.
